The Ibero-American Design Biennial, the most important contemporary Ibero-American design meeting is held every two years in Madrid. It is the meeting point of design professionals, universities, companies and institutions from Latin-America, Spain, and Portugal, showcasing some 400 works from 22 countries during its last edition in 2014 – and covering all creative areas from fashion to graphic design, interiors and objects. During the compliation, BID Advisory Board pays special attention to sustainability, innovation and social awareness by awarding the best projects selected by an international jury.
