2016. September 24 - November 20.Central Values – Common Heritage in Central European Contemporary Design
A kiállítást szeptember 26-áig meghosszabbítottuk! 1929-ben egy álmot követve két törékeny asszony indult el gyalogosan Indiába. Kevéske pénz és hatalmas elhivatottság volt mindenük. Szerencsés véletlenek sorozata folytán jutottak el álmaik országába, amely nem csak tárt karokkal, de rengeteg festenivalóval is várta őket. Festészetüket áthatotta a spiritualitás és az India iránti rajongás. Nem kisebb személyiségek kerültek vásznaikra, mint Mahátmá Gándhí, a „Nagy lélek”, a Nobel-díjas költő Rabindranath Tagore, a Nehru család több tagja vagy a dalai láma. Fordulatos életük során festett több ezer alkotásukból az Iparművészeti Múzeum a Múzeumok Éjszakáján nyíló kiállításán a szülőváros, Nagykanizsa (Képzőművészetek Háza) gyűjteményéből mutat be válogatást.
