Every year since 2013, World Art Nouveau Day has been celebrated on a Hungarian initiative (10th June). On this day, many institutions from all over the world join in a series of events that showcase the unique art scene of the turn of the century.
This year, the theme of the World Day, proposed by the Réseau Art Nouveau Network, an international organisation for the popularization of Art Nouveau, is "Staircases". The special event of the programme series is the temporary exhibition dedicated to the architect Albert Kálmán Kőrössy. On the occasion of the World Day, further programs, Art Nouveau city walks, guided tours in the exhibition, workshops and screening will be organised for the public in György Ráth Villa.
The project is realised as part of the Danube Transnational Programme, with the financial support of the European Union Funds and the Hungarian State.

The participation in all events is free of charge but subject to registration. Visiting the exhibition requires a ticket on this, too.
